I quit my job today.

Just got back from coffee and conversation hosted by the Humanists of MN. I didn't learn much, but it was good to get out and mingle a little.

Apparently I'm getting Alexa+ whether I want it or not. It can be turned off, but why would I? AI is taking over.

Trying to wake up after a mid-morning nap. I got an 88-count package of Starbucks Veranda K-Cups for $16 from Walmart, and though it's my favorite blend, I've got so much other coffee that I hadn't even opened it.

Lying in bed watching Youtube videos. A medication change has left me with some weird stomach issues in the evenings. Hopefully that can be fixed with minor adjustments.

Reading a review of chicken-fried steak at chain restaurants. Perkins, the most convenient, didn't make the list. Not sure which on the list are reasonably convenient.

Some pedals I ordered from AliExpress came.



(I’m still feeling out the settings for the Klone, but the Reverb is set to the same settings Dick Dale used on his reverb.)

Only problems with the Klone came because the knobs were originally rotating weirdly (they should not be able to point straight down). Fortunately, the hardest part of fixing this was finding a tiny enough screwdriver to remove and re-fasten each knob to the proper position. Also, I would have loved to find a BoJack Horseman sticker small enough to stand in place of the Centaur, but that’s just a Me problem.



Tried it with A-Poc (my new Bass VI) and they sound incredible. Even before I got these pedals, Dad actually likened the way it sounds (specifically with my Vox Mv50 AC mini half-stack) to a pipe organ, and these would probably make it even more so. Especially the reverb.
