I found just the exact computer part that I need. Unfortunately, it's at Micro Center, which is in the suburbs and is a PITA for me to get there and back.

And I'm having some issues with an old motherboard. I thought it was the board, but it might be the CPU. It will cost $10 to find out. I'm not sure the board is even worth that.

Monitoring the situation in Mexico. The army killed the head of the CJNG last night/this morning and there's been mayhem in the city since. Lots of misinformation on social media.

Reading about "El Mancho", the cartel boss that Ejercito Mexicana killed this morning. He makes El Chapo look reasonable by comparison.

We're good, thanks. I'm not in country, my wife is. I'm flying down in a few days assuming my flight isn't canceled.

It's interesting, a number of businesses were torched, and some patterns were obvious, they hit dozens of state owned banks, and corporate run convenience stores and at least one large corporate pharmacy. At least one of our neighborhood Oxxo stores was burned completely. SO FAR it appears the goal is to make a big statement without bloodshed..... But inevitably power struggles in the fractured leadership are going to lead to something...what exactly is anyone's guess.
