Playing with the disk monitoring software smartmontools. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to work with Windows' software raid, which is where I wanted to use it. I wonder how well it works under TrueNAS' software raid.

Playing with a SAS drive I bought. I've never used SAS drives before -- I only recently learned that I have the hardware required. Strangely, some tools see the SMART data, some don't.

Watching baseball. My pirate streams have been lagging a bit. I missed the first two runs scored in the fifth as a result. If I want MLB.TV without blackouts, it will run $150 in May.

Been attempting to write out the return of Kitanetos. If you've read Sapience, you discover that he sacrifices himself for a necessary adjustment to a broken world. But much like false sacrifices, it's only physical. His consciousness ends up being stored into the mind of the next successor.

Figuring out the Bluetooth mode on my Edifier speakers. For some reason I'm not able to enable Bluetooth with the remote. Fortunately the volume on the speaker doubles as a mode selector.
