Finding out that my new checking account doesn't have a pay-two-day-early feature like my old one. I switched my direct deposit to a new bank so I was hoping to confirm the switch today. No such luck.

Watching baseball. When I was watching live yesterday, the picture was fuzzy. It's clear on replay.

I switched my social security direct deposit to a new bank this month. All month long I've been worried that I may have entered the numbers wrong and potentially ending up missing two social security payments in a row (because it takes more than a month to change the numbers normally). I've spent a good amount of time talking to ChatGPT about what I would need to do if my direct deposit to the new bank is screwed up because of the numbers. And the fact that I signed up for a checking account which I thought paid ACH transfers two days early, two days ago I discovered that I hadn't. Fortunately my direct deposit went off without a hitch this morning, so I no longer need to worry.

Morning exercise and flavored sparkling water. I tried the powdered drink mix in my sparkling water. It's not as convenient as the liquid water enhancer and doesn't mix as well. I had a long talk with ChatGPT about instant milk and hamburger buns. That will end up saving me $5 on $30 of groceries at Target. That will include two packages of buns which will mean I need to focus on hamburgers for a while. I was looking forward to making some dishes with Aldi's chicken thighs, but that can probably wait.

It's hot out. Target had Ballpark buns @ 2 for $5, so I bought two packages. And I've got four leftover buns. I'm running low on space in the freezer for burgers, but I'll figure it out.

Just got back from running errands. I had to run to St. Paul to pick up a package at Whole Foods. They've increased the price of their pasta sauce. That's disappointing.
