Drunk(ish), bored, lonely, frustrated and horny. Not a combination to go to sleep on.
I do have some options for changing my circumstances, but it's all a fucken waiting game. One would think I'd be used to it by now.

It seems to be the same in all jobs.

I've been on three as-builting trips in the last seven days.
It's looking more and more like I'm going to have to either stay a full day on Friday in order to complete stuff (meaning about 5 hours of overtime, not including what I've already done this week) or come in on the weekend - or *shudder* both.
Apparently I've become the finishes guru of the office - I'm the one in charge of selecting paints, carpets, and laminates, and I'm also, apparently, the only one who knows where the samples are...
I'm so mentally exhausted right now. I'd go home and cry if it didn't take so much effort.

Eating at my desk. This extremely interesting grilled chicken and mushroom creation from a local cafe. Mmmm...why can't I cook this well?
