What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Lol. Only GRRM could have an hour long primer for a 4000+ page series.

That was good, though. Well worth the watch for the history of the major houses and how Aegon conquered Westeros and the history behind Robert's Rebellion.

o0o0o, I'll watch it when I get home...

Unless there are spoilers.

I think I ran across a spoiler this morning but I can't be sure and if I don't dwell on it I might forget it...

I'm obsessing about how much I hate my master bathroom. I've created two home depot wishlists for phases of the desired future remodel (the "replace the funky-ass shower" phase and the "yay! A pocket-door!" phase), I'm going to the home and garden show Saturday to see if there are good deals on shower enclosures, and I've not only created a CAD drawing of my phasing, I've also created a sketchup model of my final layout...

*sigh*

It sucks not having the money to do this right now.

No spoilers. It's really a primer for book one. All the stuff is about the history of the realm and why the Targaryens were usurped.

Sketchup! Love it. Another tool of the Google overlords to which I gladly submit.

When I wanted to do my bathroom, I made my purchase list, and mapped things out to buy with each paycheck. I set a $75 budget per paycheck, and bought tools/supplies/hardware that fit that budget until I had everything I needed. It was trying, but I was able to at least feel like I was making headway towards completion as I could visibly see the supplies piling up. If something cost more than $75, then I waited an extra cycle or two and doubled/tripled up. Took me about 4 months to pile everything up, but the tile/vanity/paint/mirrors/lights look awesome now. I have to do the master bathroom now...

I have been organizing my home. I still have stuff packed up from when I left the military in 2008. I am beginning to hate my house for how messy it is!

Eating a bagel with cheese. Was at a tennis match (W: SDSU vs. Arizona) but my GI went on strike, so I am home.
