Gearing up for the ENG-JPN semifinal. Crockpotting chicken breast (Worcs. sauce, seasoning salt, pepper and cumin) and green beans (kosher salt). Some relative TLC combared with yesterday's Pancreatic Slugfest powered by Peanut Butter M&M's.

Back home, finally. Luckie's lungs are doing better, she just needed some upped pain meds to handle the new infection. Some might call the time we spent in the E.R wasted, given that, but the peace of mind of knowing that her lungs are improving and not, say, slowly dying as a clot cuts off blood supply (like they were during our first E.R visit, where the doc missed the damn clot despite doing two x-rays and a CT scan) is totally worth it.
