Again, assuming the god of the bible is real and now that you admit that god can have negative attributes. Then why worship him?
Just because someone is more powerful than me, be it, socially, physically etc... it isn't ethical to be subservient to him. I wouldn't side with someone who sadistically murdered other beings out of jealousy and hate just because he has infinitely more power than me.

Thank you for what exactly? Billions of people bow down and worship and devote their lives to what exactly? I mean maybe if a god actually did anything worth a dog's pile of shit then yeah it would be justified to show some gratitude. EVEN THEN a supreme being would be humble enough to shy away from it and instead tell people to focus on being productive. Instead we have a god who demands people to devote hours upon hours reciting useless prayers with absolutely no results.

That is the thing that I have the biggest problem with. This "good, god-fearing" stuff. You're always
hearing about "good, god-fearing" people. If you are doing it out of fear, then are you really good?
And what kind of narcissistic sociopath needs to keep getting his ego stroked endlessly like the god
of the bible? I kind of have to wonder just how much of the stuff you get from your religous folk is
not love for god at all, but rather fear of spending eternity in some flaming pit well stocked with
nasty, sadistic demons who make Pinhead look like Hawkeye Pierce?
