Or maybe God saw that the path man put himself on would not work with the plan of salvation He had instore for humanity.

Really Drich - I am surprised at you!

"How do you know what building materials they used? The prymids are pretty close to 50 stories today, meaning take away erosion and weathering they great prymid exceeded 50 stories.."

Genesis 11:3 "They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar."

As far as I know you cannot make a building higher than 30 stories from bricks as they collapse under their own weight - let alone the weight of the building they support.

The Egyptians used carved stone - with good reason.

Now why did God want to make some things impossible for men?

Fear?

Ignore the last question - our posts overlapped.

Moving goal posts. Christians used to believe that Heaven was just above the firmament.

Now that we know that there is no firmament or heaven up there in the open sky or in space, Christians moved the goalposts to claim it's some interdimensionary realm. When science disproves your beliefs, invoke magic.

How do you know there never was a 'firmament?' God created the Garden of Eden and set it aside from the rest of the world and how it worked/developed. I have often used a covered cake dish as an example because of how some translations refer to the 'dome of the sky.' but your illustration with one or two very minor adjustments works even better.

What are you saying is infinite and what is finite?

Because a parallel universe could potentially be as infinite as this one.

The universe is big but not infinite.

Theoretically as we are 13.72 billion years from the big bang if parts radiated out equally the diameter of the universe should be 27.44 light years.

Again How do you know what building material they used?

'Brick' is a generic term it simply describes a shape, and arguabliably the fact that they are man made. all other elements of 'bricks' are variables. because the bible did not give you the 'brick receipe nor how long they were baked or even how long they were allowed to dry, before being baked, one can not say for certain what they were able to build.

Remember even the Romans made Cement stronger and more versitiale and able to work under heavier loads and last longer than anything currently being used.http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-06-14/ancient-roman-concrete-is-about-to-revolutionize-modern-architecture

It's been 2000 years and we are just now beginning to understand what made Roman cement so strong. And that wasn't baked in ovens it air dryed... So again how could you possiably know what the men of babble were using as building materials?

Ah, the atheist Faith hard at work. Belief and blind faith in a given position because someone smarter than you told you it was true...

Kinda how everyone thought the world was flat because the scholars of the Day said so..

I'm wondering why he hasn't unmistakably shown himself ( other than the obvious). I mean what gives? back when these marvelous works of fiction were inspired by god. He was leading people around with clouds and fire and turning others into salt. I mean shouldn't that click in your mind? Thomas was with Jesus and witnessed the miracles and still doubted he came back from the dead. Do they expect our faith to be bigger than that? Oh wait, I sound like I may be on the fence about this. I put as much stock in this as Jack and the Beanstalk

ROFLOL
Do I need to point out that you have no proof of this assertion only the faith that the guy who was 'smarter' then you how thinks this is right...

Seem Minnie Atheist Faith Abounds in every part of what you all believe to be true. There is no call for 'evidence' or 'proof' nor the absolutes you say undergirds every part of what you believe... the Vast majority is Faith just like in every other system of belief known to man. The only question then becomes a matter of what it is you simply prefer to believe.

Wait! Wait! Wait! Drich may be on to something here. Let me write this down.

Now, what's the ancient Hebrew word for "Multidimensional Transportation?
"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”
- Buddha
"Anyone wanting to believe Jesus lived and walked as a real live human being must do so despite the evidence, not because of it."
