Daniel 12
8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”
9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

I understand. May God open eyes.
Why do you have to ask for god to open eyes? Why would god not make his word perfectly plain and clear?
Did you teach your children in riddles and mystic symbols and then punish then with death if they don't understand and obey? No? Well why would anything but a most evil god do differently.

Christ came for the wicked, not the righteous. Ears open by faith. Ears are seeds of grain. The seed is God's part and it is here. Soil is needed.

Faith is a path toward self-delusion. Nothing more.
Faith removes law. Until then, it is a guardian. Law guards the one it teaches. In Hebrew culture, the guardian was a trusted family member that watched over the landowner's son so that the son learns to the harvest. Once the son is older, the Guardian is removed and the son inherits the land. Before the inheritance, he was the slave. After, the owner.
Galatians 3
23 Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed. 24 So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, 26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave[g] nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.
Ultimately, the removal of law allows for more freedom and ability.
1 Corinthians 2
However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" -- the things God has prepared for those who love him--

Which explains why theists do deplorable things in the name of their fictional deity.
