I'm a YEC. Challenge me.

Not even answering the rest, because popeyespappy and Esquilax already did it for me!

I'm still waiting for an idea as to why none (I'll repeat that, NONE) of those ages match with the YEC number.... not even in the same order of magnitude!

I was truly overwhelmed when I first faced creationism, I remember that my highschool biology prof (a very bright and friendly hot (boobs!) female teacher that taught me all about it). Creationism was exposed then for the overwhelming evidence for evolution.

Ironic isn't it that in a thread about a young Earth John posts a chart that supports an old Earth as evidence of a young Earth then accuses us of conformation bias when we don't see support for a 10,000 year old Earth in billion plus year old moon rocks.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
Doesn't seem to bother you that Minnie does the same.

It doesn't bother me that Catfish does it. It does, though, display a level of sad idiocy when that's his only retort.

The major difference is that the few times Min did it it was well deserved and needed. But he didn't sit there and repeat it in numerous posts just to try to provoke anger.

I know calling catfish an "airhead" was hitting below the belt.

Damn temper of mine.

I was gonna call someone else a "dorkus maximus" but I don't want to cause any more trouble.

By chance, did she look like this?

Sure. Isotopes with different half lives tend to give ages in different ranges.
Quote:Because, as Popeye has already said, the moon was recently geologically active. And the older ages are corroborated by multiple dating methods.
What did you want me to read in that link? And, I'm not arguing old or young. The claim I addressed was that different isotopes give the same ages. That isn't always true.

Mmm, I wouldn't say that. I don't believe it was intended to provoke anger in any facet, more likely it was intended to demonstrate the ridiculousness of such (you will notice ' Undecided ' following most of his uses of it).

If anyone was attempting to provoke with 'go fuck yourself', it was captainwhateoscopy Smile

Minimalist does it in non-identical ways, and he tends to do it only once in threads where he does it. 'Go blow jesus out your ass' is also sort of his thing, and it has a legendary status here (that may infact not make sense anywhere else, ala Drugnut-Surrender@20, ala 'Do you even lift'-bodybuilders). It is not overdone, it's generally fitting, and he provides so much here, and has been around so long, that he'd have to seriously overstep the bounds of the rules to get himself banned (hell, even warning him is a sort of pointless endeavor), and remember: we don't have rules regarding that specifically.

The reality of this forum, is that rules are broken on an hourly basis... but we don't care unless said rule breaking is making itself a problem Tiger That's why me, rhythm, minimalist, and many others are even allowed to be here Tongue

No, I accuse you of confirmation bias when you only see 4 - 4.5 billion year ages despite a significant number of other ages. Some older in fact. As you guys sometimes say - they can't all be right, but they could all be wrong.

Yes, they (almost) do.

No, not really. I just like mine better.
