One wonders if you make a habit of treating people in service industries so rudely.

One also wonders if you like spit in your food.

Jeff,

Perhaps you've just been reading articles biased towards Creationism. Read some that are biased towards atheism and you'll get a different perspective:

http://infidels.org/

Here's a short, cheap book that may give you a new perspective on how life evolved and if there really is a God:

http://www.amazon.com/Why-Am-Not-Christi...+christian

I suggest getting the Kindle version. Less than $4!

Most Christians won't even bother researching atheism, but if you really want to understand it, look at it from it's own perspective.

Cheers.

Do yourself a big big favour and read a textbook on evolution/geology.

If you're in a hurry, the book Why Evolution is True is really short and can be finished in a day. By Jerry Coyne.

It's more fun for them to create straw man arguments.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Sorry, I chuckled at "researching atheism"...

I also forgot to quote this verse too:
Genesis 1:28
King James Version (KJV)

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

The bolded word up there doesn't fit if Adam and Eve were supposed to be the first.

You know, I could almost handle old earth creationism, but idiots who believe that the earth has only existed for about 6,000 years have to be the dumbest of the dumb. Not only are they totally arguing against the mountains of evidence for evolution, but they're also arguing against the mountains of evidence for an old earth. And all because of some old book.

YECs are suitable only as fuck-with material. They are too far gone.

Like neo-Nazis, the KKK and fans of Miley Cyrus.

3 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer 4 or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God’s work—which is by faith.

Titus 3:9
New International Version (NIV)

9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.

So tell me YEC, how do the YEC's determine the date of the Earth?

Gee, if I recall correctly, it's from the Usher Chronology, which is based on those same genealogies.
