I got a very nice deal on an Xbox 360 Elite discount bundle with GTA 4 and Grand Theft Auto - Episodes from Liberty City. Since GTA is one of the main criteria for my choice I have just ordered the bundle. Then I only need Need for Speed shift and I am settled. Thank you all for weighing in on the decision.

Righto Good luck with the red rings
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
Enjoy! GTA4 is great.

Thanks. Had it not been for the GTA4 content that is only available for Xbox 360 I would have chosen the PS3 as most of you suggested, but as it stands the Xbox was the better choice for me.

OH MAN I LOVE THE PS3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Xbox 360 RRODed ;\\\\ I got a new one online on ebay for $70, works great so far! I've ALWAYS been a microsoft fan. Microsoft user, Microsoft windows programmer, Own Microsofts consoles, and I refuse to change. Just raised that way I guess lol. I love em though!
The 360's range of games appealed to me. Only setback was the rate which they breakdown. ;\\ 'tis a shame, awesome experience.

Microsoft is good about having the utility to be able to program its things rather easily. I have 3 microsoft computers, and they work fine, but software-wise are jerryrigged together, you can't do that with mac. Also when microsoft computers break down (both hardware and software) they are fixable if you know enough, wheras mac is more something to be replaced when it fails. Mac however doesen't have so many initial problems because they have a better R&D process about their products. I do have 1 mac, it is old though and runs system 7; I find it is absolutely useless, and I never use it. I do however use my old windows computer from the same period (1997).
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Why can't you "jerryrig" macs together? Mac OSX is a Unix-like OS, and as such has more capabilities than Windows. Just because technology is hidden from the general user does not mean it's inaccessible.
Also, I don't see whats so unfixable about the hardware on a Mac. My MacBook Pro has fully changeable parts, and if the motherboard breaks, i use AppleCare to have it repaired. I'd turn your statement back on yourself. A Mac is fixable as long as you know enough, I just doubt you know enough yourself. |
