Nobody takes the bytes in a complied computer program and has the bits randomly changed and expects the program to work as well.
But only the beneficial 'errors' will be carried on to future generations. That's the whole point!

Complete non sequitur. If there's no design then there's no overarching purpose, and hence no change to the genome can take it further away from that purpose. There's no "correct" path for there to be an error on.

And now you're begging the question, because we know for a fact that a computer program has been designed, and so there is a function that it was made to accomplish, and therefore any change that occurs that takes away from that is an error. Not so for genetic code.

In the interests of accuracy, I have to point out that it's also not true: detrimental changes get passed on too, assuming they aren't enough to kill the organism hosting them.
Which, really, just makes Grace's (continued, baseless) claims that they are errors even more ridiculous.

Well, I did consider this when writing but didn't want to overload a fragile mind. But, I stand corrected. Only the beneficial or benign 'errors' can be carried on to future generations. That's the whole point!

Of course the flip-side to this is that if God designed us and yet we get 30 mutations per generation then God has effectively consigned our species to death - according to Gracie's argument.
The only reason we are still here is that is happened just 6000 years ago. Another 20-30,000 years and we'll all be having babies with brain's in our asses.
Holy shit - look at Gracie - its happening already!!!

ahhh the computer analogy...
Well, then, considering that there are many useless pieces in our DNA, that just means there was no creator of the DNA.
Case solved.

How do you know they are useless?
What is you proof?
I do not believe that useless DNA proves anything against creation. After all, the Holy Bible shows a curse after the fall in the garden and after the flood.

So the Tree of Life was like a bug-check utility for human DNA, which would otherwise become corrupted and make us die. Your god really is a miserable asshole, you know that?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

What is you proof? refer to any book on the subject...
Have you read anything lately?
I remember posting a link to a huge article on the subject...

Why don't you distill the information for us and post it.

I remember lemon doing it for us: 95% of the genome is useless.
If you want details, read the article.
