"The soul is who we are."
Does this mean metaphorically, or that our whole body is our soul? Or just our brain? Or what?

. like that's some big stumper question...you're kidding right?
You didn't actually respond intelligently or answer the questions.
So, yes, it appears you were stumped, Snowflake.

Does this mean metaphorically, or that our whole body is our soul? Or just our brain? Or what? Body and mind, not brain (part of the body). Perhaps 'personhood' would be the word. A caveat - the soul needs to be guarded against unrighteous behavior since it's been tainted with the sin nature.

So what does the brain do, if the bit that does all the driving is separate from it? And why is it that brain injuries can alter the personality, if the two are unconnected?

So is the soul in my leg, arm, heart, partially in my heart? If I get a heart transplant, does that mean I get part of someone else's soul?

All evidence says mind is brain-based, nothing more.
You have yet to demonstrate the existence of souls, let alone tainted ones.

And why can people get drunk/high if their "mind" is not material?

Is there a taint scale?
Is there someone we can contact who will accept money to remove this taint, and where can I find them?

And if I ask nicely, would he be willing to lick my taint?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
