Genesis 2:7: Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Life, coming from a non-biological catalyst on non-biological material? In the book of Genesis? Why, that sounds like abiogenesis. You fucking retard.
So now you agree with me that God must have created all life.
No, that's stupid. All I'm saying is that abiogenesis isn't 'atheistic'. It is depicted in your own fairy tales.

The creation of life in the bible is INTENTIONAL and caused by a sentient Creator.
And that is NOT spontaneous appearance of life from non-life.

And of course you see no trouble with this.. '-_-
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

If there was an even higher being than the one who created life on earth, THAT'S who I would call "God"

Etymologically-speaking, which part of the word 'abiogenesis' indicates spontaneity?

For that matter, etymologically-speaking, which part of "sentient" (or "reasonable") indicates YEC?
Sometimes the nuthouse provides an amusing spectacle. Sometimes it's just embarrassing and depressing. Today's one of the latter days. I can't imagine worshipping to the point of idolatry an ancient book that was obviously the product of an ignorant and barbarous time. Arguing with YECs, as this thread and others provide ample evidence for, is next to useless. Unless . . .
Just out of curiosity, are there any forum members who now identify as atheists but used to believe YEC claims about scientific evidence and Biblical interpretation? I actually hope the answer is yes, as that would provide some justification for engaging the Graces, et al, of the world. Otherwise, we really are better off comparing sex toys or blowing bubbles or something.
