And they have the guts to carry on preaching, as if they are perfectly rational in all they believe
Much smarter men than they have tried and failed to explain it.

That's true. Why carry on believing it though...

Quote:"The single combination of pressure and temperature at which pure water, pure ice, and pure water vapour can coexist in a stable equilibrium occurs at exactly 273.16 kelvins (0.01 °C) and a pressure of 611.73 pascals (ca. 6.1173 millibars, 0.0060373057 atm). At that point, it is possible to change all of the substance to ice, water, or vapor by making infinitesimally small changes in pressure and temperature."
How could a bunch of ignorant 3d century (when the "trinity" was first proposed) peasants attain those conditions outside of a lab?

What it is though, is unequivocal proof of how humans cooked up this shit
I think I'm of the opinion that anything which purports to be too difficult for humans to understand is totally false. And I'm not talking about "I don't know" answers, I mean all the woo in religion and pseudoscience that they come up with to avoid having to explain their woo.

Because the alternative is polytheism, and that's just silly.

The trinity can be explained thusly:
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Wait, we're not talking about 3-way, are we? What forum am I on?
