Scientology, like all frauds, are started by con artists. Mormonism was concocted by a nut who claimed golden tablets sent to him from God were buried in America. L. Who else would invent it? At least with theism it's only possibly could be a man made invention, it would depend whether or not God exists.

How about humans make up god/s? Do not tell me there are not deity claims you reject. The only difference between you and me is that I reject one more "POOFDADDY" claim than you do.

Scientology is being surveiled by my countries version of the FBI as it is considered to be a potential threat to democracy.
And in this case I agree with my goverment.
The way in which this organisation collects private data and extorts high sums from people reminds many here in this country about recent and less recent institutions such as the Stasi and Gestapo.
The one great thing about having had a dark chapter in your societies history aswell as having your society gow through a phase of utter collapse through it`s own wrong actions is that that society, if it is willing to learn from those events, will easily see what kind of groups cause such a social, moral and cultural collapse.

I think I know the OP's confusion. I think he believes Scientology is the religion of science. I mean, they have the same first five letters and all and everyone knows atheists all worship science.
