They're massively incompetent at that job.... took them more than half the Universe's age!
Also, how do you type "rôle" with an english keyboard?

ðis is a true mystery! Maybe he has a particularly circonflexible computer with a surrender monkey key .

The cool thing is, Snowy, we actually have fossil evidence of the primitive brain structure of a 500myo arthropod. It also happens to be one of the earliest predators. You should google it. It's cool stuff.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

I cheat. Normally I Google it then copy/paste, but in this case my 'phone has a feature which allows me to select special characters. I know that with a PC keyboard there are shortcut combos for doing the same thing, but I can never remember them.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Ah... the phone... that explains it. I missed the little icon on the post's header...
Portuguese keyboards, on the other hand... make it easy:
á à ã â ä ª
é è ê ë
í ì î ï
ó ò õ ô ö
ú ù û ü
hmmm.. the tilde is only allowed on the 'a' and 'o'.... interesting....

Oh yeah! Well Snowy has the 4000 year old fossil line that scientists can't cross. He has the plant eating tyrannosaurus rex fossils from the garden of eden. He has the archaeological ruins of the tower of Babel, Sodom and Gomorrah, and Salomon's incredible temple. They found the fiery furnace that was hot enough to kill men yards away from the doors but not yet hot enough to produce iron. They found the evidence of the Exodus of Egyptian chariots in the sea. They found the Ark of the Covenant and Noah's Ark. They found the headless fossils of the giant Goliath and the children of angels. The found the fossils of unicorns, satyrs and cockatrices just as mentioned in the bible. Nasa found the missing hour from god holding the heavens still. They found the huge sprinkler head in the clouds from whence the flood rains came and the hole in the earth where it all went. They found fossils of penguins and koala bears and polar bears on Mount Ararat. The original stone tablets of the ten commandments were quite the find as well. And lastly, the contemporaneous artwork created by all the throngs of people that saw and praised Jesus during his lifetime is invaluable proof of the bible story.
Oh wait a minute!!!!!!!!!!! We don't have any of those!!!!!

Yeah yeah yeah, and if nobody had pointed it out you sure as fuck wouldn't have mentioned it yourself, you would have just continued the argument as if ID was connected here, so don't start getting sarcastic now.
Quote:so if i interpret what you are saying about the mind developing from the non-mind, it seems that between 13 bya - 5 bya carbon based atoms were smashing into each other until one carbon atom got so smashed that it started thinking and then she started organizing the other carbon atoms and now after 5 billion years we have complexity.
Does it please you to erect such outwardly obvious strawmen? Do the flickering embers of your intellect stir with pride at having come up with something so clearly flawed?
You know I accept that evolution occurs, so would it not be more apt, given what you know of my position, to consider that perhaps I believe the mind to have evolved? I know desperate, depressing simplicity is the hallmark of your argumentation, but just try to envision a scenario in which more complex physical brains turn out to be a survival advantage, and that the first stirrings of self aware consciousness within- being itself a more sophisticated reasoning tool- might have been yet another one?
I mean, I know you don't use your brain for anything much, but in general, in an environment in which your survival isn't automatically assured by a large an sprawling society, intellect is something that confers greater odds of survival.
But you keep playing in the sandbox with your strawmen like the other children, Snowy. You certainly aren't giving us reasons to take you seriously, with crap like this.

That sounds pretty good! Better than what you get in most religious texts, at least.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
