but science will always meet resistance until most of the important questions are answered. the biggest being is how did the big bang start is one of them.

No, it doesn't. One interpretation models it that way.

But still though its kinda hopeful. but if parallel universes do exist then that means we are in a multiverse. Pointless however since we still have rockets and no FTL drives yet. Even with FTL its pointless.

Rockets take too much fuel to go anywhere. Any propulsion system would probably have feed off outer space.
