The 2 dimensional depiction of the accelerating universe shows a ‘void’ (*blue background, reposted.) which is non-existent to our senses or instrumentations since it is non-dimensional or extra-dimensional, and not part of the universe; therefore we can’t view the universe’s geometrical shape. The galaxies are located on the 4 dimensional cosmic surface. Perhaps an analogy for perspective: If sea creatures never saw above the water's surface, they wouldn’t ever see the ‘flatness’ of the surface.

Advance life needed a flat universe so that the universe last long enough for stars to spew-out heavy elements needed for advanced life; and expands slow enough so that gravity can form galaxies rather than neutron stars.
In that connection, This quote from - The Grand Design - “Were it not for a series of starting coincidences in seems, human and similar life-forms would never have come into being.”*

So in which direction is the universe flat? Where's its top surface?
Galaxies are on and confined to the 4 dimensions of the expanding cosmic surface, above the surface is non-existent (the expansion is not moving into space, space itself is expanding; the galaxies themselves are not moving except for the localized gravitational movements). 'Top' has no more meaning than a northern hemisphere location vs. a southern hemisphere location on earth.
Atheist Credo: A universe by chance that also just happened to admit the observer by chance.

I am not a scholar, scientist, atheist, or christian. Something had to start the ball rolling though. Even if scientific laws were different before the big bang and you can't really call it before because the law was unknown something started the snowball down the hill. Is it not plausible that it could be called God?

I could call my toaster god (and I'm sure that somebody out there -does-), so what?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Well, Rhythm, you'd have to provide evidence that your toaster is god, as well as provide your definition of god. You can't just call...oh, I see what you did here.

What if I skipped all of that and hit you over the head with my toaster until you agreed? That's just as good, right?

What? I didn't hear you. I was busy praying to toaster out of fear.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

It is a power beyond explanation is all. You call our existence a coincidence I call it miraculous. Everything could have started from less than dust with zero energy... something like that right. We have scanned other galaxies with know proof of real live as we know it. Something did it. Sure eventually science may be able to explain it. Does that mean that it is not the creator of all things we know henceforth God.

Like I said, you can call anything you want a god. I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean, though? You know.....God god the god when the god was god and gods.
