Calling Out Demolition Deniers

Because, you know, fire and flames and all that jazz blocking their exit. Oh, and fires burn upwards.

No matter how you slice it, even if there were charges to bring the building down, the deaths were almost certainly assured as there were well over several thousand tonnes of steel and cement on a critically damaged structure just waiting to fall apart.

People were KILLED?

Wow, that's news to me Syn, I didn't know that. I thought everyone would have survived after the collapse ...

And that statement is more indication of how very little you (and others in this thread) know about the 9/11. Maybe you also don't know anything about the CIA's involvement in the evolution of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in the years before the September 11 attacks which, basically, suggests that you haven't done enough research on this subject and that's why you don't know all this stuff.

Quote:Author James Bamford looked into the performance of the NSA in his 2008 book, The Shadow Factory, and found that it had been closely monitoring the 9/11 hijackers as they moved freely around the United States and communicated with Osama bin Laden's operations center in Yemen. The NSA had even tapped bin Laden's satellite phone, starting in 1996.

"The NSA never alerted any other agency that the terrorists were in the United States and moving across the country towards Washington," Bamford told PBS

And listen to this from 29:50 to 34:35:

I can show much more than that.

And yet you guys think that the government can't be smart enough to pull off something so huge.and complicated, that they can't do something like this so flawlessly(?) without getting caught.

To me, that only means that you have underestimated the US government's high-level intelligence and secrecy.

Definitely. All done with smoke and mirrors. Every one of those firemen and the people in that building are now in witness protection programs. They dare not contact family or police. Wink

I remember reading somewhere ages ago that Osama was surprised that the towers actually fell. He wasn't expecting it to work so well.

That's why I said intent.

Many crimes are committed with intent towards a specific goal. Less than all crimes committed fully accomplish their goal.

A great many bombing attempts are thwarted, yet many who would commit such continue to try.

Actually pulling it off matters little when the criminal intended to cause the worst case event.

Are you talking about the same government that couldn't keep secret that our top executive mistook a pussy for a humidor?

You can't have it both ways.

The same government, which the NSA spy apparatus has been blown? The same government that shutdown over a petty fight? Remember, Congress approves all programs! Congress holds the cookie jar.

I am sorry, but something would have came out by now if there was a conspiracy. Documents, voice, or video would have been leaked by now. This is the government, and there would have been a paper trail somewhere.

Call me old-fashioned, but I'm a fan of old nitroglycerin.

But tell us Rayaan, how did the conspirateurs managed to put charges all over the building, with carefull wiring and still account for 2 airplanes crashed into the building (wouldn't the airplanes explosions cause disruption in the wiring or cause a chain reaction??). The way they done it is like I said... godlike, if you believe that story.

Actually, Bin Laden was surprised that happened:

The only plan that day was to fly planes into buildings it seems.
