If you have been wondering this question... here:

Due to Quantum Mechanics this could be the cause of the big bang!!

Another misleading affirmation. This is the problem with equivocating between 'nothingness' as usually meant and however physicist X is using 'nothingness'. If you're going to say that the laws of quantum mechanics allows for weird things, then you're already assuming there is in fact something which follows those laws. And usually when referring to 'nothingness' (itself a contradiction in terms; 'nothingness' isn't a referant), physicists seem to mean empty space. Why not just say 'empty space' (assuming they mean such)?

This is fast becoming the hardest question to answer in physics. What is nothingness? Krauss, in more recent interviews is sticking to his version and saying no particles, no fields, no laws of physics - nothing.
As quantum physics presumably follows some sort of rules (even ones we don't/can't(?) know) one can argue that Krauss' nothing is still not quite nothing.
My problem is I can feel my mind melting as I try to figure this shit out.

Well most of the universe is made up of "nothing", as in the majority of the mass of the universe is essentially nothing to our observations (anyone know if we have had any actual readings to verify an observation of this mass?)....aka dark energy.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Really old news...

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK
"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke

Hey we live in a country where 20% of the population can't locate the US on a map. So old news or not it needs to be hammered home.

Its still an ongoing debate. What do you mean old news? Its proving as hard to define "nothing" as it is to define God.

Actually, scientifically speaking "nothing" doesn't exist. All models, including self-creating models, are based on the fact that energy will exist within the system...
