Yet you still tell me that I need to find out what an apologist is. Moron.

If I was an apologist, I would likely posses a Seminary degree and have a very keen interest in philosophy....it's more about defending Christianity's spiritual views by using disciplines not found within the Bible....aka using secularism to support theology.....modern ones even use science to do so, so I guess you could call the creationists who advocate for intelligent design would be apologists in their own right.

And I'm going to be frank, with the exception of those creationists, Christian Apologists are more intelligent than myself.

Just because you're not intelligent doesn't mean you haven't used apologists rhetoric. Frankly, I don't care what you call yourself, but if you're going to accuse me of not knowing what an apologist is you better be prepared for me to question you about your intelligence. I've been debating christians for 15 years. Im well FUCKING aware of what an apologist is.

You like lying, don't you?
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

I'm well aware of this trick. You want to go down this road with me, I'll go with you.

Maybe you aren't lying because it seems those Christians rubbed off on you....you being kind of delusional and all.

But rest assured, you never had any argument with a Christian Apologist...they don't waste time with people like you....you just get the occasional fanatic who's really convinced of his beliefs.

Actually. They tend to just write boring treasties that almost no one will ever read.

You can call me whatever you want. The truth is far too much fun to lie. ANd yes, Christians rub off on everybody, that's the nature of a disease when it is intentionally spread.

Did... Did everyone miss the bit where Polaris (the Christian in this little tussle) just made the assertion that Christians are delusional?

Checkmate bitches. Somebody print this shit out and make pamphlets.

You keep editing your post after the fact in an attempt to be deceptive and get some kind of upper hand - typical christian behavior by the way.

I will address the Edited part of your post now:
Edited after the fact, You Wrote:But rest assured, you never had any argument with a Christian Apologist

There's absolutely no way you can back up this assertion. Again, a very typical remark from a christian: nothing to back it up.

Edited after the fact, You Wrote:...they don't waste time with people like you....you just get the occasional fanatic who's really convinced of his beliefs. Actually. They tend to just write boring treasties that almost no one will ever read.

I agree, you and your kind are very boring.

It generally does not matter to me whether they believe or not, unless circumstances make that relevant.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

I just like adding when I want to add more in that I forgot to say without adding extra posts that would end up further ruining the page. You already quoted the first part each time, so you have the original...so much for your deception Malarkey.

LOL.....the member who never backs up his BS ramblings before making the next deranged post. It's a constant crazy fest with your posts. You're as bad as Ted Cruz at this point.

Me boring? Well of course. Don't tell me you just found out....

But I'm not like the Apologists because I don't know much about philosophy, which is quite necessary for Christian Apologists...I though have borrowed a bit from the Greek ones I guess since a section of the Letters borrowed from the Greek philosophical view of the body, mind, and spirit being separate entities, yet that was to actually say that the Christians viewed all three as part of the human body rather than being distinctly separate. So I guess the author of the letters written to the churches would have been the first of those Apologists.

Other than that, I just have read the Bible a few years back and went OK....I don't have to prove a fucking thing to anyone about this so I don't give a shit about expanding further on those views.

Now on archeology, I do care because I can actually go to many of the sites listed in the Assyrian, Babylonian, Egyptian, and Biblical (edit:generally 1000 BCE-650 BCE for the Biblical record) records.

Quote:how, pray tell Min, do you detect Christians from atheists?

Basically, just listen to them for a little while. They will let it slip. Theists almost cannot control themselves. Sooner or later they'll give you one of these "god bless" or "jesus this or that" or some other such routine. The speed with which they introduce their fairy tales into the conversation gives you an idea of the degree of fanaticism. The system is not perfect but I have generally found it to work.

Of course, if they are standing there with a big fucking cross or yamulke or whatever that is a pretty good hint, too.
