RE: Questions
We are the polite Borg, your lack of politness in asking the staff if you could conduct a survey is targeted for assimilation, resistance is futile.

If you'd like to present your questions to me or any other Staff member via PM, I'd certainly be willing to take a look at them and give you a fair shake.

Otherwise, as you can see, you may not get a whole lot of cooperation. Our members tend to be pretty cautious around here. Additionally, NObody wants to be the one caught in a "I made you look stupid" trap.

RE: Questions
Thank you. I'll post questions here that require debate. But in the mean time, I just need a few people to do surveys. But I understand where all of you are coming from, and I apologize for the way I'm going about it. It's just research.

RE: Questions
I hope you understand that it's quite common on atheist forums (this and others I've been on) to have people come here claiming to be writers or needing input from atheists to do a college term paper. That's why the "creepy guy in a van" idea comes to mind.

... believers of any religion welcome
...

So... non-believers are unwelcome?

Are you sure you are looking in the right place?

Lol. Thanks for pointing that out. Nonbelievers welcome as well. And I promise I'm not in college using you all for my paper. I'd never go through this much effort or take this much time. I'm too much of a procrastinator. To be honest, I'm a twenty year old female that works at Wendy's. I'm very interested in religion, always have been, and I just got stupid high and started writing all these questions down. Questions I want answered from other perspectives. As of right now, I don't believe in god. But that's why I want religious and non religious opinions.

hmmmmm all of a sudden you went from being creepy man with a van to being a young, cute girl with tatts at Wendy's. What you got? Ask.

I have an idea for you. You may ask here, and if the person feels better about answering via PM, they may, and if they feel ok about doing it here, they may. Watcha think? Thing is you will get a better turn out rate if you post something... anything, here.

By the way... I'm not buying your 20 year old, sexy, cute, ink glazed, pretty eye, young girl story yet. In time, my friend, in time.

(fuck! What the thought of tats does to me, keeps replying*)

Also, here's why I think people don't respond (unless they are via PM and I don't know it), or as much as they would if it was here.

If a person sends out a PM, they feel obligated to continue to respond whatever you keep asking. It's more personal. More fatigue. If it's here, since it's meant for everybody, people can lurk if they wish, click a kudo here and there, and respond as they wish. Less fatigue and sense of "responsibility", per se. PM is best when it comes easy... like when I want to PM someone to see how they are doing, because fuck, I care for my online buddies (Big Grin). PM is no fun when it feels like homework. Homework that you enter voluntarily. That's just wistful thinking.

RE: Questions
Better still, why not get a bunch of critical thinkers to critique your questions?

You'll probably get 10 pages just on the pros and cons of loaded or leading questions.

RE: Questions
Wait, who said anything about tattoos? I have tons... But I don't remember saying that. Haha. Regardless, I give up. Lol. So I'll post one question at a time and y'all can answer if you want however you want. So for starters, does anyone here believe in a supernatural higher power? Any form of higher power.
