Or is it like God's final judgement - final.

We've had at least one person resurrect themselves.

Was he resurrected three days later?

It's an undesirable situation I agree, but I won't let him get away with the level of dishonesty he had in those posts either. That is why I responded.

Also, everything I've said is publicly verifiable from the conversations we had here, if anyone wants to look it up. I will gladly publish the PMs he sent me when he returned if people want to verify those too. My response was mainly to counter his claims, not make more of my own.

Yeah I can completely understand. He made some disparaging remarks towards you so it's only natural to want to clear those up. I guess I was talking more from my gut previously.

I think we should just do away with the whole thing so people like you don't turn a mole hill into a mountain. Undecided

Yeah, but it wouldn't be so bad to slap a RACIST just a little bit Smile

It's all well and good saying it's so easy to ignore someone, but when said person's posts take up mountains of space, and clearly disrupt the flow of a thread, it isn't just about "can you ignore them". More "does it disrupt your foruming (if that's a word) experience"?

I dunno, my reasons for having certain people on ignore aren't just because I don't like them or can't control myself enough not to respond. I think there can be more reasons than that for having someone on ignore.

This post is basically telling me that you hate me Sad

I agree though, the ignore function is a feature with a myriad of uses, not unlike the kudos feature Big Grin

We have had some in the past, so no, it's not a exclusive male thing.

You don't know a proper tantrum until a good old-fashioned lady throws one.

You objected to my stance on how I would deal with racist friends, and made several posts (including one thread specifically targeting me) alluding to me being a racist sympathizer or indeed, a racist itself. You also took my position to the extreme, comparing my choice of remaining friends with racists to hanging out and drinking with members of the Nazi SS. Nobody in their right mind would equate the two; they are totally different.

It SPEAKS! Shock

His anger though, out of control - he seems to lack to ability to step away from the keyboard and calm down before posting. I cannot condone his treatment of Tiberius and his accusations towards A Theist, even if done out of impulsive rage, drunk or otherwise. Also, I quite dislike how he blew off Stimbo's suggestion on how to release some anger before posting simply because he was pissed/drunk.

I would also like to add - the mods do the best they can to be unbiased and rational in their decisions. That is awesome, thank you mods.

I'm actually immensely surprised.

It took him this long to earn a permanent ban XD My bias: I shy away from aggression, he was very aggressive. Like, even if I were a mod, I would have abstained due to my bias.

Not of the permanent variety, so far as I am aware.
