I'm against FGM as much as anyone else, but signing an online petition isn't likely to do squat. Online petitions aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

That's a terrible practice. Want to punch the bitch in the face, near the end when the girl is screaming at the top of her lungs and one performing the 'operation' just smiles like 'oh girls will be girls'. Kick her fucking teeth out.

Well, the best thing would be to go and actually pressure the governments of countries where FGM is still being performed to stop this practice by enacting strict laws and regulations.
This would work if those countries were ex-UK colonies, perhaps?
