I'd worship a futurist.

Jesus Never Existed vs The Holocaust

Quote:Even if you take away the bible references he is the second most verifie person of that time period. Let's have them, bozo. May as well shove them up your silly-ass, too. There are NO contemporary references, historical or philosophical, to your miracle-working godboy. There are NO references even to a crucified criminal coming back to life. Let's see what you've got....for the umpteenth time.
Any thread raising the spectre of the Holocaust is going to be emotively sensitive at the best of times. Add Drich to the mix and stand well back.
Re: the actual topic at hand - we actually have far more evidence for the existence of Yoda than any jewish miracle man walking around first century Judea, and for the same reason. On the other hand, as well as the overwhelming testimonial, archaeological and film evidence to the Holocaust, we can add the minutes of the infamous Wansee Conference at which the "Final Solution to the Jewish Problem" was unveiled and the mechanics discussed. It's like history itself is saying "This happened... Never forget it."
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

The bible wasn't always the bible and was collected by thousands of people all claiming the same thing about one person. Even Atheists and Scholars who are atheists believe that Jesus existed. Other religions claiming Jesus existed how do you think all of these cults started? If you really want to know a lot about the history Jesus and evidence I recommend a book (The Case for Christ) to get some knowledge about Jesus. ![]() (November 21, 2013 at 10:38 am)super spidey man Wrote: That's ridiculous to believe that Jesus never existed. Description of author: "Lee Patrick Strobel is an American Christian author, journalist, apologist and pastor. " Not exactly an unbiased source. ![]() Quote:Do you know any historical evidence or read any of the gospels? Xtian shitheads constantly insist there is all this "historical evidence" for their godboy and yet, when asked for it, they never seem to know where it is. For example, I'm still waiting for Drippy to come through on his silly statement from a few posts back.
My prophet sense is tingling:
The names Josephus, Tacitus and Pliny are about to enter this thread within the next ten posts.

Yes.... not to mention the "we have more evidence for jesus than Julius Caesar" line of shit.
There is a shitload of reliable historical evidence; Hundreds of contemporary written accounts, some surviving official records, photographic and video evidence, plus there are still living witnesses/survivors.
For Jesus's existence we have none of that. Not a single primary source exists. Maybe there were never any to begin with, or none have survived. It's more likely that the reason is because there was no real person to write about.
Say....where'd he go?
