Friends, family, a good education and a good career.

I don't see an important difference between being thankful and feeling glad. When my other pup died this year, what I felt most strongly was how glad I was to have known him and glad that we had the relationship that we did.
"I feel fortunate that ..." "I feel lucky that ... " "I feel thankful that ..." "I feel glad that ..." If there's an important difference here it is getting away from me.
