Hello everyone! I'm from the Tidewater region of Virginia. I've been an atheist for about 6 years now, I wish it hadn't taken me so long to realize the truth. I'm looking forward to participating in some of the interesting discussions that I'm sure take place here, and also learning about what other folks think.

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way?
