Covering that up would be a crime against humanity!
Muslims take sexual denial very seriously. Unless the woman plans to give sexual favors to every man in the room, she's not allowed to stir anyone's feelings for her with her bodily attributes. Appearing on stage naked can also allow these men to compare her with their wives. This comes 70% from the jealousy of Muslim wives and 30% from men who do not wish to have their feelings stirred without being able to get sexual relief from the woman causing the stirring. They claim it's good for the woman and all, it's great publicity for her, but the men watching are denied so it's unhealthy for them not to get sexual relief.
When I was in high-school, a woman came on stage to present the awards for science-projects and she wore a mini-dress with high heels. A Chinese guy in the room started masturbating to her in front of everyone. When they asked him to leave he said "this is what she gets for forgetting the rest of her outfit at home".
So apparently it is not limited to Muslims alone, depending on cultures, some men do not accept to drool at a woman and develop unfulfilled sexual thoughts about her, saying that, while it is good publicity for the woman, it's not a healthy thing for the man who watches and has to abstain. What the Muslims did was they solved this problem by banning all sexy outfits altogether. This also values their wife, since their naked wife at home looks more sexy than any other covered-up woman.
While it's incompatible with our modern world and women rights, I have to admit that I have a hard time concentrating on a speech when thoughts of getting a blowjob with a twist from the speaker and letting go in her mouth cloud my mind and judgement. Questions like "would she swallow?" or "does she have a piercing in her tongue?" start emerging and if you stop me after an hour and ask me what I understood of the whole thing: nothing ^.^
fanatical Muslims in Iran had become wild by Islam rules and has affected all people, even non-Muslims.
