The same way you 'chose' whether or not to eat toast for breakfast I'd imagine.

The reason I identify the way I do now is because there are plenty of religious folk out there who seem willing to just drive away anyone who values honest debate.

I have to agree. I was in the category of 'I don't give a shit' for awhile, but that really applied to all areas of my life, and sort of screwed me over in the long term.

I don't know what god is the real one or what religion is correct, so I chose none. I observe life and have come to the conclusion that god is just that of an over reactive imagination. When I was little I thought I could talk to god until I got out of that imaginary friend stage. Also perching reminds me of cults.

The bible isn't whole truth. It's not as ridiculous as it could be though...I just recently read the gnostic Apocalypses of Peter, that was a trip.

I hardly believe any of them are true myself. They are all a bit ridiculous in a way.

Welcome! Enjoy our all-you-can-eat baby buffet! I'm an atheist because I haven't seen a single religious god claim backed by sufficient evidence for me to start believing. It's all a bunch of hooey.

I was hoping you had one of those, could always go for some baby lol

I tried really hard a couple weeks ago to find a decent argument for theistic belief since I was doing a argumentative work on the subject. It is not easy to find a not half-baked argument for God.
