So I know Christians think the earth is only 6000 years old but how do they fit Mesopotamia and the early dynastic period Into this theory? Seeing as Mesopotamia and early dynastic period date back at least 150,000 years.

According to my fundy ex-wife, archaeologists (et al) have the dates wrong and Mesopotamia is an antediluvian civilization, settled by descendants of Noah.
Never underestimate the stupidity of fundies.

Errors in carbon dating, the flood, Jesus riding a dinosaur, etc etc.
Truth is OP, you could provide irrefutable evidence about any sort of claim and they'd still reject it, and that's because they're cunts. Love atheistforums.org? Consider becoming a patreon and helping towards our server costs.
Si, Fidel. And stupid cunts at that.

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
