Aww, no FFVIII? Love that game. Loved the story and the graphics, the battle system was alright, and I really liked the characters, except Rinoa, because she was a pansy little priss xP

I have to totally disagree there. 8 is my favorite because of the story and characters. Dare I say it but I liked 12 too.

8 was my first, so it hold that special place... also, great cut-scenes which prompted the movie "Final Fantasy - The spirits within"... the first almost realistic, fully CGI, cinematic experience.

The first FF was my first, and I bought it secondhand from a garage sale, so there was no instruction manual. It took some time to figure out the controls; I didn't even know how to equip weapons till well after I got the boat.

First one was FF7, really cool game, but i am playing another one which Squaresoft made, which i highly recommend, its old but very fun
In USA it is called "Final Fantasy Mystic Quest"
In Europe it is called "Mystic Quest Legend" wheter its on a emulator or on Wii Classics, you should definitely try it out

I have only played FFIII and FFIV (the DS versions).
So when I think of Final Fantasy, I think of this:

And now a game called Bravely Default is being released on the 3DS which seems to be Square Enix's attempt at a Final Fantasy throwback title. It follows 4 main characters through a fantasy adventure and they use a job system to take down the baddies they encounter using a turn-based battle system. Any thoughts?
