Why We Are, and Forever Will Be, Imperfect

Why We Are, and Forever Will Be, Imperfect
If you think about it, there's no such thing as perfection.

Whatsoever.

We believe we are imperfect because our society and selves can become better than we are.
But perhaps what we consider perfect somebody else considers imperfect...
If you think about this, maybe there's a planet out there with more life, and what we would consider perfect humans and a perfect society.
But to them, they are imperfect. They believe that they, too, can become better.

To think of this from another view, a different planet has lower lives than us and would consider us the perfect beings. But we are not the perfect beings since we know we can become better.
Make sense?

To think of it from a more logical view, let's appoint to Africa... They're in the fucking dumps. They think what we live is the perfect life (if anything, the good life) to generalize. But we do not think this is the perfect life; it could get better.

Perfection is impossible to reach, thus for a God to be perfect would be impossible as well.

And in the end, it's a religious rant. ;P

Is Africa perfect? Or was it?

Can't the theoretical be perfect? 1 + 1 = 2

God is what we name a perfect being. To say 'God' isn't perfect is therefore a contradiction. We'd have to reinvent the word. Maybe our understanding of God is wrong.

Many things can be perfect, in some way.

All of our meanings are constructed by us, fr0d0. To me, God is a perfect example of how ridiculous and contradictory anything can be. So he is perfect, at least in that way, to at least me.

Perfection is unreachable. I do not consider him perfectly contradictory, but that is a contradiction. If I went on, this would turn into a contradiction itself, as well as a paradox.

So God is a truth then?

Theologically God is perfect. It's how he's defined and this isn't just pulled out of a bag... it's consistent with the thinking around the problem of the creation of the universe.

This isn't to say other theories would be incorrect. Just that this one is internally consistent.

Remember, the thought of Christianity was sent to Earth, and we based off perfection of God of what we think about it. Hence perfection is limited to opinions, where another living being could find this perfection really imperfect.

I score 10 / 10 on a test... that is a perfect score. Perfection is possible... but it depends on what we are attributing it to... and in what way we are doing so.

To clarify what we are discussing... I am using perfect: as good as it is possible to be.

That is a perfect score on the very small quadrant of that area you studied. Wouldn't it only be perfect if you got a 10/10 on the whole entire subject that has ever existed?

Perfect is perfect... no matter what it was addressing. Is perfection (as good as is possible) possible? In a 10 / 10 scored test... it would be 100% good. But is 100% as good as is possible? Depends on the test. If the test only has a possibility of getting ten correct... and you get ten correct: then you performed the test perfectly.

It doesn't require that I also get a perfect score on every other test... the perfect I was describing was in the bounds of a single test. If I was being tested in the entire subject area: I would have to perfectly score on every test within the subject area.
