guns, Guns, GUNS!
#51
RE: guns, Guns, GUNS!
I have a pump-action 12-gauge shotgun that is used occasionally for trap shooting but whose primary purpose is as a last line of home defense (in my neighborhood this is not paranoid of me). I keep it unloaded and locked away during daytime hours or when I am not home. At night, it's loaded and ready. I doubt it would come to a shootout in the event of a break-in because there is not another sound in the world that would be confused with the sound of a shotgun being racked. That alone would deter all but the most determined intruder/attacker. But if the shit really hit the fan, I'll take a shotgun at close range over a handgun any day. I'd hate to have to shoot someone, but given a dire situation in which it was me/mine versus some predator, I wouldn't hesitate.

I use to collect WWII guns. I still have a few.. Anyone else?

Yes, I have a gun so I can help christians overcome the effects of the sudden collapse of the boundless faith in heaven they normally profess to have when they were in no danger of actually going there.

Though I don't really have the space for it.

I use to collect them, in 1/35 scale.

Let's put it this way. In the past four weeks, a cop who lives in my neighborhood had his place broken into and ransacked while he was on duty, and a friend of mine was shot twice in his own home by an addict who thought there was something of value worth stealing (there wasn't). I have heard shots fired in my neighborhood several times in the past year.

Guns are for pussies, I just whip out my piece, and unleash hell-sticky on their faces, it does take a while to charge between each shot though. That is the only disadvantage. (I have to wear power armor because of this) It's like a portable beam cannon, but stickier.

Even in America, you can have 50 guns if you want, but you can't shoot 50 of them at once and you don't have drones and missiles and the like. I mean, really, if the U.S. government wants to seriously flex muscles against its own people, us having guns isn't going to do much to stop them.
I support the right to bear all sorts of arms! Even cruise missiles should be legal!

Absolutely. Every Iranian should have a cruise missile with a nuclear tip.

I don't need guns for protection at home and try to make sure I do not other places. At home I have 6 count 'em 6 Rottweilers, big babies until people begin to put their noses where they do not belong.
I do like guns not so big on hand guns though, I like long distance shooting. I have a 7mm Mag I deer hunt with and a 22/250 for real long distances at small targets. Would like to have a 308 sniper rifle, excellent shooting gun, held the longest kill record until the 50mm sniper came along, would like to shoot one wouldn't want to own one to expensive to shoot very often.
As far as home defense goes the shotgun would be the best, especially when sawed off, but like I said I use a deterrent and they seem to work rather well.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I had dogs all my life and know how to get past them. (just a couple packs of hot dogs and you have a new friend) Mr. Colt on the other hand does not care what gifts one may bring to the party.
