Bad News, Rayaan

RE: Bad News, Rayaan
I have six cats.

I prefer them over most people.

One of mine kisses by nibbling. This is him in the process of opening his maw to chomp on my nose.

This was during an appoximately 20-minute cat-led cuddle session where he crawled into my lap and proceeded to rub all over my face, all I did was sit there. (And take pictures - luckily I had just updated my phone so I had it sitting right in front of me... Smile)

You only think it's unconditional love because you're the pack leader.

^^-- This is accurate, though, but I contend that it's not exclusive to cats. :p

Though I'm mostly a dog person, Peppar has stolen my heart. There's something about a cat, "sneaking" up to you, purring like a V8, giving your fingers a few lovingly licks and falling asleep on your chest Heart

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

My cat will always fall asleep on me just as I was thinking of getting and doing something. "Well, now I'm stuck here. Damn you, Mittens!"

Cat gravity. Practicing for when you don't wake up, and supper is served. Angel

There's also something about a cat as it launches off the crow's nest of its cat tree, bounces off your furniture like a skipping stone and tears across the house at just barely under supersonic speeds...

... all for no reason.

Here are some other signs that your cat is plotting to kill you.

Excerpts from a Cat's Daily Diary...

Day 983 of my captivity...

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets.

Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am. Bastards.

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking.. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges.. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.

The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now ...
