My dad and I do not always see eye to eye, and my mother's english is rough, but better than my korean, so outside of pleasentries we do not discuss much.

My mom is. My dad considers himself to be 'Spiritual' without a deity.. (old hippy)

And specifically, If God's will is good, then all that happens is intrinsically good. It doesn't seem like anything can be intrinsically bad from your standpoint, because all that happens comes from God, no?

I understand, but if it helps, I need not know any details. I only want to know if you have kids. It will give me an idea of whether or not you can know what it means to love something (other than God) more than yourself.

I don't feel like you're giving me a sincere answer. It seems like you think you are avoiding walking into a trap. I've seen this type of response before, and know that you would have no problem bending an answer to make it fit your belief, but I would have bet anything that you believed that God is pure goodness. Is God pure goodness? Just be sincere in your response. It's not a loaded question. Yes or no?

Notice what your mind is doing right now when you prepare your answer to this question. If you were in Church, I don't think it would take you long to agree that God is pure goodness. What is your mind doing while you consider the answer to this very straight forward question?
