Losty has found herself in the middle of the Majuro Lagoon in the Marshall Islands.

But seriously.  Here is the satellite picture of my place magnified fully.  We're in the littlest warehouse at the center bottom of the screen.  My garden takes up most of the space beyond our building before you get to the bigger warehouse at the top of the screen.  There is a year around creek at the boundary between us, flowing very close to their building.  My garden also continues for forty feet behind my building.  Our back neighbor is Strawberry Creek park.  This satellite photo must have been taken about a year or two ago.  It shows the raised bed I put out along the sidewalk.  If you're in the neighborhood, do stop by.

Basically, everywhere in Missouri that isn't in one of the two major cities, or perhaps parts of Columbia, scares me. I do like the roads between here and KCMO, when I go up there, every other weekend or so. Definite motorcycle country, between here and there. 

Everyone I've ever met from around Springfield or Branson seems to be either strung out on meth or religion. Sometimes both.

My business partner and I had considered buying a place near Blue Eye or that area... but after doing some research, we realized the only bikers there that wouldn't be harassed constantly by the police were the Christian Motorcycle Association, heavily entrenched down there, so we vetoed the idea. We wanted to be near the big rallies in northwestern Arkansas, but it just wasn't worth it.

My partner had an old shop here in Sikeston that still had a bunch of our equipment in it, so he offered it to me when I got out of the joint. We've been trying to get out of here ever since. Not as bad as Branson area, I think, but I just plain loathe Missouri. At least in a metro area there'll be enough people and things to do.

I was thinking Portland or Denver or maybe Santa Fe. But if the question is to what other country would I like to emigrate? I suppose I'd choose the Netherlands or Sweden, given no problems with the language barrier. If I was wealthy, perhaps Switzerland. I had also considered returning to my Cajun family's original home near La Rochelle in western France. But the truth is, I'm rather hopeful my country can fix itself, and I don't like the idea of running from my oath to defend the Constitution.

This is a country that forces toddlers to pledge to a piece of paper. 
You are going to eventually have to admit you are beating a dead horse or die yourself.
If you want to become Mayor in Missouri I would recommend not saying you are an Atheist.
Actually say that you are a Republican. Say you are specifically a Christian. Say you want to reduce the power of the government by getting people more involved in Government. Say you will do so by doing things like Mail Ballots and the like.

You will be digging your own grave as a politician by increasing voter turnout, but it will be more then enough to allow the Left to repair the U.S.

Also, are you aware of which countries would be the least negatively effected by the US declaring itself Bankrupt? Because that will cause the Global Economy to crash and that seems to be a real possibility with this crippling dept and Donald "Bankrupt" Trump "Business"man, master of getting welfare, running for president.
