Does the Bible ever establish that your average angel has wings?

I think in Revelations it details that some classes of angels have wings. Others have multiple sets of eyes and wheels for feet ... I think ...

I think in the old testament, angels were like eldritch creatures, and the reason that they usually said "do not be afraid" first was because they were nightmare inducing. These were not winged humanoids with halos. More like flaming rings with eyes or something.

Oh, they are. But that is what he said. (Whether I like that part of the story or not) Actually he said' I might call him a psychic' I guess he knew if he told me that he was an angel up front before he gave me anything to make me think that, is probable that I might have opened the car door and rolled out of the truck/car.

The bigger point to that thread is that not all messengers fit the winged profile. It is the message that makes the messenger, not a silhouette. Our Islamic buddies prophet as well as our Mormon buddies sought revelation from a silhouette, rather than a verifiable message.

Angels have never been described as having wings, other beings yes but not angels. Every appearance of an angel in the Bible describes them as looking like men. Humans will not have wings in heaven either.

When I was little (3 or 4), I had this wild story and even memories of it. Now mind you, my memory is abnormal in that it goes back very far, and I remember what happened action for action, word for word sometimes. Likewise, so are my dreams and nightmares very vivid and I remember some of them my entire lifetime. Also note that as soon as I could talk I was singing bible story songs and quoting bible stories.

I'm cold, lying at the foot of the bed where my brother was sick with meningitis and my mom held him till he cried himself to sleep. My dad was off gambling, all night. I wake up from a nightmare of a very bloody battle of demons and angels--on top of an ocean's worth of demon/angel corpses. One of the main angel commanders stood up front on a cliff, and the demons shot a huge arrow into his heart and he fell off the cliff. At which point I awoke, now sweat soaked and freezing. I try to pull the blanket out from under my mom but I can't. She's beyond exhaustion.
My eyes look up, and I'm surprised to see the border of the wallpaper which should not be lit. My eyes find the source of the light, and in my mom's closet my eyes adjust to the blue hazed light and there's a figure of a person in there. I freak out, try to shake my mom awake but she won't wake. I try to shake my brother awake even, but he won't wake either. I look back at the closet, horrified, and see the figure of a woman in a gown, backlit with light and exhuding blue light. I look at her feet because I know for a fact it's painful to walk in there because of all the rows of shoes everywhere, but her feet were above the shoes.

"Do not be afraid, I will not hurt you" was what she said.

I wasn't afraid anymore, and all of a sudden a blanket of warmth like that akin to being in the womb, surrounded me and I fell asleep instantly.

I also saw a demon in a party hat on a timeout bench in the corner of the living room, once.

There-in lies one of the foundational pillars for my belief system up until my 20s. Then I bought a movie that I used to watch when I was little, for my neice and nephew.

There's still a question in my mind as to whether what I saw was a dream within a dream or not, though.
