Interesting: where do black holes, cosmic radiation, and more locally, natural disasters dome into your little picture of everything bad being our fault?

Not that I think you've considered this that deeply, of course. Rolleyes

When man disobeyed God and sin entered the world the Lord kept his Word and said that we would surely die. By disobeying we rejected the blessings of God and we are living under the curse of sin. I believe that is why we live in a world with earthquakes, hurricanes, etc.

You could have just said "I'm an idiot and I believe stupid things". It would have been quicker to type.

... And the fact that all of those things verifiably occurred before human beings even existed fits into your little model... how? Dodgy

Oh, not to mention their existence on other planets, where there is no life. You're simply wrong here, Mr Magical Thinking.

Not to worry, because our sun won't do that; by itself anyway. It's far too small.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Perhaps God allowed changes in His entire creation when sin was introduced. Evolving from monkeys sounds more like magical thinking.

A real person just Wrote:Were you there?

An actual human mind really Wrote:Were you there?

...

Are you freaking kidding me???

Seems like a lot of wasted effort, and you're still a monkey now. It's a fact, it's demonstrable, deal with it.

But it does raise an interesting question- if the creator was so exacting in his design of the universe and the laws of physics, why did he do such a colossally awful job when it came to making sentient beings?

I believe God did a great job with creation. As far as we go, well, because He allowed us to have a free will we are the ones who made his creation suffer by our negligence.

Because free will equates to "believe in me or I'll torture you for eternity!"

Have you actually done even a basic biology class? This alone shows that the all powerful creator of the human body is incompetent.
