How can a Christian reject part of the Bible and still call themselves a Christian?

In my experience, most Christians don't reject the Bible. They are simply ignorant of it.  Read
"The world is my country; all of humanity are my brethren; and to do good deeds is my religion." (Thomas Paine)

An oxymoron.
NO real Christian would!

That's OK, the last real Christians perished with the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 AD. You lot are Saulites.

The Bible was created by Christians who chose which parts would become canon and which would end up on the cutting room floor.

Sigh! ASSumption rears its mis-shapen head!

If thinly-veiled insult is the best that you've got then this is going to be pretty brief.

What assumption(s) do you feel that I've made?

BTW, the Scots send their regards.

It's sad;most people think what the damned churches teach is from the Bible: it ISN'T!
I myself, would rather be an atheist, rather than believe the coprolite they dish out: Like a God with a Triune Personality Disorder burning trillions forever in a gigantic BBQ Pit!

The idea that the things taught in churches aren't from the bible™ is an idea taught by a church as well.

OFC they are, but christians can disagree on what they do and don't agree with..even from the bible...almost like real human beings or something!

Anyone who alleges that he believes what Jesus allegedly said is a looney (not alleged).

A christian, is a person who believes in christ. Churches are full of people who believe in christ.
