RE: Q: do you, Christian, claim that God exists, rather than you believe that he exists?

So far we've done a lot of talking about evidence, and yet Disc seems a mite coy about actually presenting any.
Has anyone noticed this has become kind of a trend, lately? First Sword of Christ, now this guy, both asserting that there's plenty of evidence for that god, yet ignoring all requests to present it... and then pretending like their assertions that the evidence exists is the same as presenting it.

Stop it with the victim mentality; you're looking mighty childish right about now.
In post #121 you say "A person is condemned because they reject God's offer of salvation found only in the person of Christ." I rightly reply that this "God" fellow is either real, or he isn't, and if he's real, then he condemns us and you agree with him, and if he isn't, then there's nothing there condemning us excepting the dementia of your own, twisted mind.
Fuck you very much for playing this game, asswipe.
Thank you for sharing your opinion with me. I respect it and take it into account.
It is Christ who condemns. Christ condemning is simply giving people what they desire. Condemnation is simply eternity apart from the presence of God. Judging by your remarks to me and by the spirit with which you speak, an eternity apart from God is something that you just very well may desire. It seems to me that an eternity with Christ is the last thing you would want.
I think you just misunderstand what it means to be condemned. I hope I have cleared it up for you.

His dishonest tactics are at least predictable. Mr. Word Salad here is a very chewy fellow.

Do you have something you wish to say. If so, then do so plainly.
How many times have we heard of Christians who continue to stay in an abusive relationship with God despite them and their loved ones being killed, maimed, injured, sickened and ruined at random every day? What do they usually say? Oh....God loves me! I know he really loves me! My infant died in the crib, but that's okay! It's all part of his plan!
Is this not denial in the face of indisputable evidence? The evidence is indisputable because it is in the form of cancers, natural disasters, violence and mental illnesses happening to Christians as often as anybody else. Yet the Christian lives in denial of what so many around him see so clearly.

Clear as mud. You can't possibly know what I desire, so you can shut the fuck up about that, and just because the Nazis were following orders doesn't mean they could completely wash their hands of mass genocide. You are a class act Pontius Pilate (to take a page out of your own book).

I write what I do to certain people for certain reasons at certain times.
I endeavor always to write what I do, whatever it may be, in a spirit of love.
Christ said that you would know I was His disciple by the love that I have for you.
The way I comport and conduct myself while being slandered, ridiculed, mocked, and despised here on this forum by atheists is one particular evidence I have for you to take into consideration.

Okay, lemme just... take off my glasses and rub the bridge of my nose for a sec...
So, the evidence you present is that the people here don't take kindly to smug repetitions of the same old apologetic nonsense... how could you possibly think that this was what I was asking you for? It certainly can't be what convinced you that god exists, which is what I asked you for. Evidence for a god, not evidence that the atheists of AF don't take kindly to lengthy bouts of condescending preaching.

Think you're really righteous?
Think you're pure at heart?
Well I know I'm a million times as humble as thou art.

What if I desired to determine my own afterlife, rather than being forced into one of two at the whims of someone else? Because that's generally what atheists would want, self determination.

So I was wrong then? If I was wrong, then you do desire to spend an eternity with Christ.

I think you do determine it. Atheist or not.
