Tell your dad to take it up with the Jews, the Muslims, the Hindus, etc. Frankly, your parents both sound like they're a few cards short of a full deck (and obviously ignorant of other cultures and faith traditions). Of course, if the "Reverend" would like to dazzle us with his reasons for believing, I'm sure we'd be most attentive.
