Does God have rules he needs to follow?

Okay, I'm interested in this, because it implies that god has a genetic code; Jesus would need one, after all, and since he isn't a clone of Mary, god must have contributed some genetic material to the process. So given this, god would need DNA. Given that, god's existence could be classified an abiogenesis event, so I guess that's like ninety percent of the creationists' objections down the tubes right there. ![]() More importantly though, Jesus had Adam's blood too, through his mother. So your entire position here is kinda invalid anyway.

Perhaps a christian theist can answer it. Does god have rules he needs to follow? For instance the reason I ask is why god needed to send Jesus to suffer for sin? why cant he forgive sin? If god is all powerful why not forgive and for go the whole Jesus suffering in the first place? So is God bound to a rule that says he (the Father) cant forgive sin unless he (the son) suffers for it? why go through the trouble, confusion and utter ridiculousness unless he is bound to not forgive? If so who or what is stopping him? All I can say is if I had created everything time, space, and everything ever to exist why limit myself an all knowing all powerful being to something as trivial as forgiveness??? Seems to be a huge waste of time to create sin and forgiveness and punish for the sin but cant forgive for it. Unless you create a clone of yourself to do it for you?????? Is it only me or is this odd behavior, and thinking for an all knowing being? any thoughts would be great Thanks Ethnocentric Jewish and Arabian religious fairy tales are short on logic. Probably too much inbreeding and hot desert sun scrambled their brains.
Esquilax;
Wow, just wait till the word gets out that paternity cases are based on bogus blood tests. A bunch of guys are going to be happy. Umm where do you think DNA came from in the first place? Hint- Creator. Wyrd; I thought I answered your question 'way back in page one. In your paragraph above I get a distinct tase of straw and just a whif of fresh horse manure. God did not create sin. Lucifer did, followed by man. There also was something on page 2 that questioned how what Jesus did could effect wrongs prior to Him coming and our personal wrongs. All the OT sacrifices could not remove sin- they covered it. The lambs killed were a shadow and type of what the NT calls the Lamb of God- Jesus. It says He is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Because God is outside of time- what He did is effective throughout time. Foreplanned with foreknowledge.
So this all stems back to god having foreknowledge of events to come. Who has seen the first from the last and the last to the first. He knows everything right? Well an all knowing entity would see the core of his demands being a sin free person to inherit the kingdom of heaven is impossible. So why ask imperfect beings to be perfect when he has already rigged the game for everyone to lose according to his standards? And to make matters worse prepares a place with unquenchable fire to consume his own children for all eternity! And the only way to avoid it is to accept a disgusting human sacrifice or burn forever. As Star Wars says "only a Sith deals in absolutes" Just like god. Join or die! sounds like a man made god to me. All to true of all the rest. ALL MAN MADE!!!
If God transcends time, and can basically act and exist in all times at once, why the farce of this existence at all?

No, God does not have any rules he has to follow. Which is why you get all the cop out excuses.
1. Mysterious ways 2. He can do what he wants 3. He doesn't have to answer to you If this God were held to the same account as say businesses that make a defective product, or corrupt politician, or criminals, he'd most certainly be held for crimes against humanity. There are no rules to God because god is whatever the believer wants the god to be. It is called pulling shit out of your ass to suit your own selfish desires. Christians don't have to be consistent for everything to exist. Good thing, too. |
