I know you guys don't believe in hell, but can you guys help me, as a believer, not fear it so much? Because right now it dominates my life.

God is evil. Isn't it a bit unfair to be punished for pointing out the obvious?
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? Don't fear, and don't believe in things who's existence is non-demonstrated and non-demonstrable.

Easier said than done.

What you're afraid of is the equivalent to a child being afraid of monsters under the bed.

There is a simple solution to this. Stop believing in hell. Even if God exists, if he is fair and just, he won't let souls be tortured for eternity for minor offenses on Earth, or for simply being born.
