I'll debate you on the general existence of any given god.
But I won't debate you on the contents of any holy book, given that I have no interest whatsoever in delving into said material.

How would we debate the general existence of any given god?
You need to explain to me what you mean when you use the phrases: general existence and any given god.

Traditionally speaking or not, I am extending the opportunity for someone to suggest a topic. As I stated earlier, I would want someone to do the same for me.

Answer this question first: What person did the talking serpent in the Garden of Eden represent?
This thread was created with the intent of providing a medium in which to discuss possible debate topics.
If you can formulate the above into a concise debate topic, then I will interact with it.
For Pete's sake....assert something you believe, debate it in the open for a while, find a good sparing partner and YOU challenge THEM to a debate. That's how it's done.

There, debate finished, good night! :p
That is a false dichotomy which is an informal fallacy.
Perhaps if you can suggest a third option so as to demonstrate the dichotomy, instead of simply asserting it and claiming victory, you might find people more willing to trust your honesty and engage you in debate.
Maybe not, but isn't it worth the effort?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

That is how you might do it, and that is fine. I however, am not you.

Since I have not "claimed victory" anywhere in this thread, I will disregard your comment. The third option seems to be obvious, one he failed to mention and one that he should have stated instead of speaking of "evidence" and that is: or presuppose there's no god.
Do you have something in mind you would like to debate?

If you can't answer that question you lack sufficient understanding to have a serious debate. All of your statements will therefore be shallow and without substance.

Seems to me you're trying to feel out a rival, you're trying to make sure you want get run into the ground, just pick a subject you're comfortable with and give it a fling.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
