Why Christians Attack Evolution

After. Okay. So which parts of the Bible made you a believer after reading them? I ask because I've read the Bible, too, and it had the opposite effect on me.

As for your person relationship working as any other relationship, I have to disagree. Other relationships comprise of regular people with corporeal bodies. How does a relationship with a deity work?

The Bible did not make me a believer. My relationship with Christ is similar to the relationship that you have with your best friend.

So what DID make you a believer? HOW did you form a relationship? Because if it's anything like a human relationship (which I still doubt), you have to decide to go into it.

As for it being the same as the relationship I have with my best friend, how do you make that comparison? I go out with my friend. I call them on the phone. We have long conversations about all sorts of things and laugh together at bad jokes. We can touch each other. As far as I know, people don't do this with deities.

So, specifically, what does you relationship with Jesus entail?

So you go down the pub for a few pints with Jesus? You would think he has better things to do....

Good call.
You have heard: If it walks like a duck, acts like a duck and quacks like a duck- it is probably a duck.

Except with convergent evolution it could be some kind of lizard.

Christ made me a believer. He had made it known to me that He wanted to have a relationship with me and I finally asked Jesus to save me and come into my life. It was a decision I personally made.

I spend most of my day hanging out with Jesus, talking to Him, laughing with Him, asking Him things, crying about things etc etc. With regards to touching Him, each time I, in His Name, touch one created in His Image it is as if I am touching Him.

So it seems that in at least several ways my relationship with Jesus is similar to your relationship with your best friend.

This sounds like you have met someone masquerading as jesus and making you "touch" him, call 911 now.

Discipulus, your dishonest tactics are showing. You largely disregarded (no, completely disregarded) everything that Popeye's pappy said, simply because you await him to substantiate the first of his claims. Fine, but why have you been off the hook for asserting without evidence that there is a god, and, most recently, that you have a relationship with Jesus Christ? I think you owe us an explanation with some solid evidence to back you up on this.

HOW did he make it known to you that he wanted you to have a relationship with him? Did this happen in your head, or....?

Does he do any of these back to you? Do you hear him laugh? Do you hear him cry?

Sooo, no actual touching?

Only if Jesus is actually reciprocating. Otherwise, it seems awfully one-sided. I could have the same relationship with a pillow.

Not true. That's a position of ignorance.
