Easter Dinner
|
The body of Christ.
It's not a big holiday in my house.
Usually we just resurrect leftovers.
I don't do Easter. My family never really did, either. My mom used to buy Easter baskets and we might go to church, but that was about it.

Peking Duck
Pho Cucumber soup We do all for different reasons. Mom for religion. Me in honor of my grandmother. My uncle because knows no other way.
I'm not big on Easter, nor most other holidays, TBH. However, my parents live 20 minutes up the road, so have no choice in the matter. We'll be meeting with family friends that have two hyper preteen daughters. They will have an egg hunt. Not sure what we'll eat. Different every year.
"For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring." - Carl Sagan
I will eat in celebration of any religious holiday as long as the food is good.
Hell I might even crash some church banquet to eat their yummy vittles. That's one thing I like about Christians, them are are some cookin mother humpers.
Chocolate, duh.
Cadbury creme eggs, mmmm.
Nemo me impune lacessit.

It's not one of those holidays for us where we sit down and have a family dinner. But I'm sure my crazy-ass grandma will be by with Easter baskets full of random junk and some candy. Hopefully, after my mom told her off, it won't include a package of snack cakes that has already been opened with some of the snack cakes already eaten. :|
