Even if this Yahweh character is capable of anything, why would he even need the ark? Why use a flood? Why not just kill who he needs to kill with a wave of his hand? Bullshit is an understatement here.
What I wonder is that people keep talking about finding noahs ark and yet nobody can take pictures of it.
You noticed that, huh.
Even better are the dipshits like Ron Wyatt who claim they found it and then lost it again. The thing is, idiots keep writing checks to con men so it isn't the con men who are stupid. It's the believers. RE: DESTROY NOAH'S ARK

Every time I read a thread about Noah's ark I'm amazed at the comments. The Bible thumpers are gullible beyond belief and the critics don't have a clue.
For one thing the God character was an Assyrian or Babylonian Emperor. They were always killing and rampaging throughout the Middle East for hundreds of years. It's worthwhile to read the Noah story in conjunction with the book of Zephaniah, especially chapter 1. Noah was a local king or warlord who took precautions to withstand the rampage of the Empire's troops. They swept through the land kicking ass and taking names. They were like an irresistible flood, sweeping all away before them. Imagine the Mongol horde as it swept through the area into Europe as a comparison. The story uses birds (ravens and doves) as metaphors for war and peace. Noah first sent out a raven (a war party). He also sent out a dove (a peace envoy) that returned empty handed because the enemy troops were still in the area. Later on he sent out the dove (the peace envoy) and this time the dove returned with a peace treaty (the freshly plucked olive leaf). Now when Noah and his family leave the ark we are expected to believe that the three sons and their three wives bred like roaches and repopulated the whole Earth (Genesis 9:19). So it seems that the wives were roach queens who spewed out untold thousands of babies every day. And then within a very short time they had countless cities all over the place and formed nations and built the Tower of Babel. So if anyone believes the flood story they also have to believe that three women churned out babies like roaches. It's estimated that about half of the population is crazy and the Noah story verifies it. It can be used a test to easily identify crazy people. Just casually ask a person if he believes in the Noah story. If the person says "Yes" then you know that he's basically insane even if he acts normally otherwise.
Gullible is indeed one word to use when talking about people who honestly believe the arc story is real.

Let's look a bit closer, the stacks on the Titanic were at least 50 feet tall, took a lot of coal to run the engines, the length you gave was the deck length not the actual storage length, there were engine rooms, storage for many things, such as life preservers, oil drums, tools of all assortments, kitchens and all that they held, bathrooms galore, ballrooms and dining halls, bedrooms that could have held many more people, chart rooms and rooms for the crew, the number you gave was for passengers, it took a large crew to run the Titanic, there were many bulk heads and empty spaces, there were control rooms and so much more that took up space to satisfy the customer. None of this was needed on the Ark, Noah wasn't trying to please customers he was interested in saving lives, oh yea the Titanic didn't even float for a week, seems the Ark one upped the Titanic. GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
